Sometimes it can take a while before I understand where someone elses ideas are heading to. I've worked a bit with some technologies from Userland, like the xmlStorageSystem and OPML. I found these technologies interesting, but nothing more. Free file storage. OK... And OPML looked like just another XML format.
But Dave hit the switch when he wrote to me how the xmlStorageSystem can actually look inside files, particularly OPML files. The result? A knowledge storage system.
