Spell-Checker

Fun with XML-RPC

Enter some text to check

Details

David Adams has created Speller, "a lightweight spell-checking application tailored for the web.". It's latest version also has a RPC interface which uses XML-RPC over HTTP as the RPC mechanism. For me it was the perfect application to test my new XML-RPC client for IE5 and Mozilla. The XML-RPC client sends the input text to the spell-check service, which returns the misspelled words and the alternatives. Then an interface is dynamically created from that data.

Note

When correcting the spelling, you can either select one of the suggestions or manually change the spelling in the box above the suggestions.
